Waking up to Workout

I used to LOVE getting up early to exercise, eat breakfast, and get on with my day. Now, I am struggling to get a “quality” workout it. Yes, I do my exercises through the day, or at the end of the day, but it just isn’t the same energy/me time that I once used to enjoy. Yes, it’s better than not working out at all, but I know that I would enjoy it so much more if I just sucked it up and got up early again.

I was doing this for a while, but Colton started to go through more, no-sleep, phases, and then Kal decided that he was scared of the dark, all the little things that happen with young children. Then the weather started to change, this didn’t used to bother me at all, but for some reason this year any time that the temperature takes a turn, so does my sleeping, if it’s going to be colder, my body wants to hibernate, if it’s going to be nice and warm, it thinks that I don’t need sleep at all. I don’t know if any of you have felt this, or if you have been going through this for years… does it change, get worse, better, does your body finally just ADJUST?!

Does the cold change how you exercise? Do you stick it out, outside?

Anyways, this week, I am deciding to just get up; no matter how much or little sleep I am getting, it will go coffee, bible-study, exercise, and get the kids up for the day; boom-boom-done! So, the plan for these workouts/exercises are going to be me taking a schedule that looks like this:

Monday: Weightlifting Upper Body

Tuesday: Workout Video (Beach Body)

Wednesday: Weight Lifting Lower Body

Thursday: Workout Video (Beach Body)

Friday: Spinning @ Local Gym

Saturday: YOGA!

Sunday: REST/Running around with the kids/STRETCH (YOGA)

I have a few tricks to help me get up in the morning. One: Knowing that it is a little part of the day that I can focus on just me. A little TLC is hard to find for a lot of mamas and for a lot of us we have to dig for that time, and mine has been found in the A.M. 2) COFFEE/TEA (Depending on the day), 3) essential oils. I personally use doTERRAs essential oils, I will be posting on why I use doTERRA in a week or two, you will find this on my Healthy Thursday page.

Here are some amazing blends that doTERRA put out in their latest magazine that I have been using OVER and OVER again! But I’m a fall junky and I can admit that.
